Learning through Photography: Tanzania project co-ordinator Wendy Ewald and her gallery, Steven Kasher, are planning an auction of artworks to support a nationwide project with children and teachers in Tanzania. If $100,000 or more is raised at auction, the project can markedly improve the entire Tanzanian primary and secondary school systems by training and equipping thousands of student teachers at the University of Dodoma to use photographs to create visual aids and encourage a participatory classroom.

The donated works are now on view at Steven Kasher Gallery from March 20th to 31st, 2018. The auction, which is supported online by Paddle8 in partnership with Steven Kasher Gallery and Bard College, is now live until March 30th at 5pm. To look at the works and bid online today, please click here.

A cocktail event to support the auction will take place at Steven Kasher Gallery on March 28th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. To RSVP for the cocktail event at SKG, please click here.
